Alanya EAH On Duty with its Giant Health Staff
Alanya Training and Research Hospital will provide uninterrupted health services to citizens with its 2,617 personnel during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Alanya Training and Research Hospital ( EAH ) Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Banu Karakuş Yılmaz announced that all planning has been completed to avoid disruption of health services in the region during the 9-day Eid al-Adha holiday. During the holiday period, when intense population growth and tourism activity is experienced, all units of the hospital will be on alert against emergencies that may occur throughout the district.
Uninterrupted Service with Huge Staff
Chief Physician Yılmaz stated that all precautions have been taken in terms of manpower and medical equipment in the Emergency Service, Intensive Care, Operating Room, Dialysis Unit and other inpatient services. A total of 2,617 healthcare personnel, including 427 physicians, 1008 nurses, 708 cleaning staff and other support teams, will serve citizens in shifts throughout the holiday. This comprehensive health planning implemented provides great assurance to both local people and holidaymakers by preventing the health infrastructure in the region from collapsing during the holiday rush.
Critical Warning to Beginner Butchers and Nutrition
Pointing out the serious injuries that may occur during the sacrifice, Chief Physician Yılmaz emphasized that citizens should leave the slaughtering process to expert butchers in order to avoid limb loss. In addition, due to hot weather and holiday habits, it was recommended to avoid heavy food consumption, consume meat after resting it, and drink plenty of fluids. Clear warnings were also made for citizens with blood pressure and heart disease not to go out at noon.
