Blood Donation Campaign at Alanya Training and Research Hospital: Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Supported

The blood donation event organized in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent at Alanya Training and Research Hospital was held with intense participation. At the stand set up at the entrance of the polyclinic, health personnel, patients and their relatives contributed to the updating of stocks by donating blood. The organization, which was organized to support patients who have difficulty in finding blood and to raise awareness in the society, continued throughout the day.

Prof. Dr. Banu Karakuş Yılmaz, who participated in the event and supported it, stated that it is a vital necessity to keep blood stocks at an adequate level. Karakuş Yılmaz pointed out that blood donation is a humanitarian duty for every healthy individual and stated that every life saved strengthens social solidarity. Citizens were invited to make regular donations in order for the Red Crescent to continue its services uninterruptedly.
