Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) Faculty of Medicine, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine Specialist, Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Onur Yazdan Balçık stated that the department of science accepted a minor assistant, breaking new ground in the region. Balçık emphasized that the assistant, who started his Medical Oncology sub-branch training after specializing in Internal Medicine, joined the staff, and stated that this development will increase the quality of service offered to cancer patients in Alanya and surrounding regions, and that they aim to accept three more sub-branch assistants in the coming period.

Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Banu Karakuş Yılmaz stated that in addition to providing health services, they are strengthening their identity as a training hospital day by day. Yılmaz noted that efforts to increase the number and capacity of training clinics continue uninterruptedly with the support of universities and academicians.
