Life-Saving Education Campaign in Payallar
Within the scope of the project carried out in Alanya, the vital importance of early diagnosis in cancer was explained to parents in Payallar.
The "Don't Be Late, Survive Alanya Project" signed between the Alanya District Governorship, District Health Directorate and District Directorate of National Education continues to bear fruit. Within the framework of the cooperation protocol, a comprehensive training seminar was held for parents at Payallar Multi-Program Anatolian High School. The program, which aims to increase local health awareness, was held with the intense participation of the local people.
Conscious Generations with Applied Education
In the seminar given by KETEM (Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Education Center) officers Dr. Yonca İnan and Nurse Esma Ünver, cancer types and ways of prevention were detailed. In addition to theoretical knowledge, parents had the opportunity to apply early diagnosis methods on the human model. This application, which raises awareness of access to health services, especially in rural neighborhoods, directly contributes to the general health standards of Alanya.
Field Studies Continue Within the Scope of the Protocol
The project, which is progressing under the coordination of Alanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz and the heads of relevant institutions, aims to increase early diagnosis rates in the district. İnan and Ünver emphasized the critical role of early diagnosis in the treatment process and invited parents to regular screenings. The project once again demonstrated the importance of joint action between local governments and educational institutions in protecting public health.
