Loyalty to the First Breath of Life from Chief Physician Yılmaz

Alanya Midwives working at the Training and Research Hospital came together at the special event organized within the scope of Midwives Week. The hospital management visited the health workers who guide mothers and babies during the birth process in their units and listened to the problems experienced by the midwives and their solution suggestions. Referring to the importance of midwives on public health at the event, Chief Physician Yılmaz stated that midwives perform a profession as deep as human history with great devotion. Expressing that midwives who witness the first breath of babies and the courage of mothers undertake a sacred duty, Yılmaz emphasized that the services provided from pregnancy to postpartum play a key role in raising healthy generations.

Reminding that they serve under the title of Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital, Yılmaz stated that efforts will be continued with determination to strengthen midwifery services and support normal birth. Health Care Services Manager Sağındık celebrated the special day of all staff by drawing attention to the critical place of the midwifery profession in the formation of a healthy individual and family structure. The program continued with cake cutting and ended with a souvenir photo shoot.
