Uninterrupted Health Shift during Holidays at Alanya Hospital

Alanya Training and Research Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Banu Karakuş Yılmaz shared with the public the balance sheet of health services carried out during the 9-day administrative and holiday holiday period. Drawing attention to the increasing district population during the holiday period, Chief Physician Karakuş Yılmaz stated that the process was carried out in full coordination with the on-duty teams and that personnel reinforcement was made to the needed units immediately.

Rapid Response Against Population Increase

Emphasizing that the service continues without interruption in all inpatient services, emergency services, delivery rooms and operating rooms of the hospital, Karakuş Yılmaz announced that 12 thousand 14 patients were cared for in the emergency department as a result of the efforts of the devoted healthcare professionals. During this busy period, 374 patients were hospitalized and treatment processes were initiated.

Referring to the statistics of uninterrupted work, Karakuş Yılmaz stated that 18 patients were treated in the angiography unit, 110 surgical operations were successfully completed and dialysis services were provided to 79 patients. While incision suturing was applied to 264 people during the holiday, there was great joy in the hospital as 26 babies were born. The statement ended with a thank you to the physicians and all healthcare personnel who served devotedly.
