Unannounced Membership Warning from Akkuş to the People of Alanya

Key Party Alanya District Chairman Abdullah Akkuş made a remarkable warning to the public, stating that during the field studies it was determined that many citizens were made members of political parties without their knowledge and will.

"Membership Cannot Be Accepted Except for Free Will"

Emphasizing that political party membership depends entirely on the free will of individuals, Akkuş stated that they encountered striking scenes during the membership studies. Stating that citizens are registered to parties that do not reflect their political views or ideologies without their knowledge, Akkuş noted that no one's political preference can be determined without their consent, regardless of AK Party, CHP, MHP or Key Party.

"Check Your Records via e-Government"

Underlining the need to uphold democratic rights and political will, Akkuş called on all citizens within the borders of the Republic of Turkey and asked that their political party memberships be questioned through the e-Government portal. Akkuş stated that no matter what political understanding is adopted, the decision must be made by the citizen's own will and invited everyone to review their existing records.
