Competition on the Field, Celebration Started in the Tribune

Alanya is hosting another major sports organization. The 31st Open Field Ramadan Demirci Tournament and the Junior Turkey Championship, organized in cooperation with Alanya Municipality and THF, started with excitement at the Milli Egemenlik Stadium. Approximately 2 thousand athletes, coaches and administrators came together to exhibit the best examples of sports in the organizations held between 7-12 July.

Teams Compete Roughly in the Tournament

A total of 60 teams, including 32 girls' and 28 boys' teams, are competing in the 31st Open Field Ramazan Demirci Tournament. While approximately 900 athletes compete fiercely in the tournament, the spirit of fair-play and team solidarity come to the fore. There are a total of 38 teams, 20 boys' and 18 girls' teams, in the Junior Türkiye Championship held within the scope of the organization. In the championship, 810 athletes take to the court to become successful handball players of the future. With approximately 320 coaches and administrators working in two major organizations, a total of nearly 2 thousand people share the excitement of sports.

The Cortege March Was Held with High Participation

The cortege march, which has become traditional for the championship, by the athletes, administrators, coaches and relatives of the athletes, was held between Atatürk Monument and İskele Şelale Square. Alanya Municipality Mayor Advisor Faruk Konukçu, who participated in the march, wished success to everyone participating in the championship. In addition to competitive matches throughout the tournament, it is aimed to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the athletes. The organization, which contributes to the district's sports tourism, will end with the award ceremony to be held after the final matches to be played on July 12.
