New Step in Tropical Fruit Production
A harvest event was organized for mangoes grown in Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) Tropical Fruit Research and Application Greenhouse. ALKÜ Rector Prof. attended the first product collection program in the greenhouse located on the campus area. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, academic staff and researchers attended.
Academic Support for Regional Agriculture
Speaking during the harvest, Türkdoğan emphasized that Alanya's microclimate structure offers great opportunities for growing tropical products. Stating that the scientific studies carried out in the greenhouse aim to guide local producers, Türkdoğan stated that they will continue to increase the variety of alternative products with high added value in the application areas within the university.
