ALKÜ And Alanya Smart Irrigation Move from the Chamber of Agriculture to the Producer

Alanya hosted an important training event with the aim of disseminating modern agricultural methods. A training program on "Digitalization and Irrigation Management in Smart Agriculture" was organized within the scope of the European Union-supported SWAMED Project, in cooperation with Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) and Alanya Chamber of Agriculture. Alanya Producers in the region showed great interest in the program held at the Chamber of Agriculture Conference Hall.

Digital Agriculture and Saving Methods Explained

As part of the training, detailed presentations were made to the participants about modern systems that will increase productivity in agriculture. In the program, vital issues during the global climate crisis such as smart irrigation technologies, water saving, digital agricultural practices and data-based irrigation methods were discussed by experts. It was aimed to integrate producers into the digitalizing world of agriculture.
