The voice of the producer who bears the burden of the city has been raised

Alanya City Council Executive Board held its regular August meeting under the chairmanship of Alanya City Council President Nurhan Özcan. At the meeting, the current situation of urban agriculture and the main problems faced by producers were discussed in detail.

Fundamental Problems of Agriculture Discussed

Especially high energy and input costs, difficulties in market opportunities, competitive pressure with imported products, irrigation and infrastructure inadequacies and lack of qualified workforce were the main items on the agenda during the meetings. Focusing on the difficulties experienced by the producers in the field conditions, concrete solution suggestions were evaluated and decided by the board.

Emphasis on Standing with the Producer

As a result of the meeting, it was stated that support mechanisms will be continued on every platform in order for producers to receive the reward of their labor and sweat. Mayor Özcan ended the meeting by thanking the members of the executive board who contributed to the work.
