ALTİD President Cem Özcan invited all segments to act jointly on the environment for sustainable tourism in Alanya.
Alanya Touristic Operators Association (ALTİD) President Cem Özcan stated that environmental awareness forms the basis of the modern understanding of tourism and made important warnings. Özcan pointed out that environmentally friendly cities always surpass their competitors in tourism. Reminding that conscious tourists attach great importance to nature and sustainability in their destination preferences, Özcan stated that the uncontrolled growth of tourism activities may disrupt the environmental balance.

Referring to the necessity of acting together for the environment on the Alanya scale, Özcan noted that everyone living and trading in the city and all businesses should be sensitive.
