Kazakh Tourist's New Route Became Alanya

A strategic step has been taken to strengthen tourism ties between Kazakhstan and Alanya. FlyArystan Airlines made its first flight from Kazakhstan to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP). Civil administration chiefs and industry representatives attended the welcome ceremony held for the plane landing on the airport runway.

Protocol Welcomed the Full Staff

In the welcome program; Gazipaşa District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, Antalya Consul General of Kazakhstan Kuat Kanafeev, Alanya Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan Ahmet Cebeci, Alanya Deputy Mayor Nazmi Zavlak, Gazipaşa District Police Chief Mehmet Ali Kayhan, District Gendarmerie Commander First Lieutenant class="notranslate">Onur Yetim and Airport Manager Ali Özgür Pehlivan were present. District Governor Öztürk emphasized that the increase in air traffic between the two brother countries will be a lifeline for the regional economy and wished the flights to be beneficial.

Contribution to Regional Tourism and Airport Capacity

After the ceremony, District Governor Öztürk inspected the ongoing expansion works at the UAV hangar and airport belonging to the General Directorate of Forestry. Öztürk, who received technical information from the authorities about the latest status of the projects carried out, stated that the increasing capacity of GZP is of vital importance for Alanya tourism. This new flight line shortens the transportation time for Kazakh tourists to the region, providing a great advantage in terms of market diversity for Alanya tradesmen and the accommodation sector.
