The critical meeting for the development of air transportation between Türkiye and the Russian Federation was held in Antalya. The meetings, attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt, aimed to strengthen the transportation network between the two countries.

In the meetings between the delegations, which included Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure İskurt, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ilichev and Deputy Minister of Transport Vladimir Poteshkin, increasing flight frequencies was discussed. The steps to be taken to diversify mutual travel opportunities and support regional tourism were evaluated in detail.

As part of the meeting, strategic moves that will maximize the tourism potential between Türkiye and Russia in the coming period were determined. It was noted that studies aiming at sustainable cooperation in air transportation will continue with determination.
