4 Kilometer Giant Renovation Work Started on Ahmet Tokuş Boulevard

Alanya Municipality implemented the Coastal Road 2nd Stage Ahmet Tokuş Boulevard Renewal Project in order to increase transportation comfort in the city center and solve infrastructure problems permanently. Within the scope of the works that started on the 4-kilometer route between the Atatürk Monument and the Highways Department, both the infrastructure and superstructure will be completely renewed.

Infrastructure is Being Completely Renewed

In the project carried out under the coordination of Alanya Municipality, institutions work simultaneously. While ASAT renews water lines, Enerya provides natural gas infrastructure to the region. Fiber internet and power lines are also modernized through the process involving Türk Telekom, Turkcell, Vodafone and FibimNET. Following the infrastructure, the existing paving stones will be removed, the road will be covered with hot asphalt, the pavements will be renewed and bicycle paths will be added to the route.

Koçak: We Speeded Up Our Work

Deputy Mayor of Alanya Municipality, Murat Levent Koçak, who inspected the field, stated that the Technical Works teams started work with the dismantling of the parquet, and that they accelerated the work so that the people can live in a more comfortable city and that the process is progressing as planned.

Hot Asphalt Will Replace Paving Stones

Alanya Deputy Mayor Hasan Can Kamburoğlu stated that the project is aimed to be completed by April 30, 2027, and emphasized that the region will have a modern appearance with new bicycle paths, sidewalks and hot asphalt.

Tradesmen and Citizens Were Informed in Advance

Mayor's Advisor Sadık Dizdaroğlu noted that approximately 2 thousand brochures were distributed to the tradesmen on the route before the work, and citizens were informed via announcement posters and SMS. With the completion of the project, it is aimed to raise the transportation standards of the boulevard.
