Blood Donation Campaign at Toslak Linen School

A meaningful event was held in Alanya within the scope of the "There is a KANpanya in My School" social responsibility project implemented between Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education and Turkish Red Crescent Western Mediterranean Regional Blood Center. The blood donation program organized at Toslak Ketenlik Primary and Secondary School was completed with intense participation.

School principals, teachers and citizens showed great interest in the organization, which took place in the school building between 10.00 and 18.00 on Friday, October 23, 2026. As a result of the day-long work, a total of 103 applications were received and 74 units of safe blood donations were collected.

During the event, the Red Crescent team was accompanied by Alanya District National Education Project Officer Fazilet Dalkılınç. School Principal Ferdi Çapraz, who hosted the event, as well as deputy principals, teachers, parent-teacher association, parents, school staff and sensitive students were thanked for their contributions. It was reminded that with every 1 unit of blood donation, 3 people's lives are saved and 3 saplings are donated to nature.
