Free Education Support for Students from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to strengthen equality of opportunity in education and ensure that children benefit from quality education opportunities. Atatürk Information Education Centers (ATABEM), operating under the Department of Social Services, supports students' educational journey with free courses.

The centers, which appeal to different age groups from primary school to university preparation, allow students to reinforce their school lessons, prepare for exams and discover their talents.

685 Free Courses in 16 Centers

Within the scope of ATABEM winter courses, 685 courses are opened in 16 course centers across Antalya and educational support is provided to approximately 8 thousand students. Academic courses such as Turkish, mathematics, science and English are given in the courses organized for children and young people at different education levels, from 3rd grade to graduate groups.

The aim is for students to complete the subjects they have missed in their courses, increase their school success and be better equipped for exams.

Culture and Art Education is Also Provided

ATABEM, in addition to academic education, also contributes to the social, cultural and artistic development of children. Students are given the opportunity to improve themselves in different areas with guitar, baglama, chess, intelligence games, computer and speed reading courses.

Children are also supported to reveal their creativity and artistic skills through painting, creative drama and modern dance training. Thanks to the courses offered free of charge, students discover new areas of interest while contributing to the education expenses of their families.
