Magazine Excitement Started in Alanya Schools

Within the scope of the "Richness of Our Language Project" initiated by the Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education, a new competition process begins in the education community. The "School Magazine Preparation Competition" is organized in order to develop students' awareness of their mother tongue and to enable them to comprehend the cultural depth of Turkish. The competition, which is open to the participation of all schools at primary, secondary and high school levels, has also created activity in educational institutions in Alanya district. Alanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz stated that they support the participation of schools across the district in this project.

Original Works Will Emerge

According to the competition rules, each school will be able to apply with only one magazine and the levels will be evaluated separately. The magazines to be prepared must have a completely original name and logo. The content is expected to consist of the activities carried out within the scope of the project at the school, the writings of students and teachers, and to reveal the rich language structure of Turkish. Yılmaz emphasized that these conditions will reveal the literary skills and creativity of the students.

Deadline May 11

The imprint of the magazines, which will be meticulously prepared, will include the names of the teachers and students who contributed to the work, as well as school information. The deadline for the submission of the works prepared for the schools that want to be included in the project has been announced as May 11, 2026.
