Alanya Municipality Theater Received Standing Applause in Three Cities with its Play The Coat

Alanya Municipal Theater met with art lovers in Istanbul Maltepe, Çatalca and Adana as part of its tour with Nikolay Gogol's immortal play The Overcoat. The theater team, which carried its success on stage beyond the borders of Alanya, received a long standing ovation after each performance.

The Coat, directed by Ferdi Dalkılıç, was staged at the 8th International Maltepe Theater Festival, the first stop of the tour. The team then opened the curtain in Çatalca, Alanya's sister city, and lastly came together with art lovers from Adana at the 11th Adana City Theaters Festival. The play, which was performed to a sold-out crowd in three different cities, completed its tour successfully, receiving full marks from the audience.

Alanya Municipality Library and Museums Director Hüseyin Çinal stated that Alanya Municipality Theater left behind an intense touring program right after the season it opened with two new plays, and stated that the success achieved was a source of pride. Çinal emphasized that the theater, which opened the season with an intense work tempo, represents Alanya strongly.
