Ways of Effective Communication with Patients were Explained

Alanya Training and Research Hospital organized an "Interpersonal Communication" seminar for healthcare personnel within the scope of in-service training activities. Dr. from the Department of Psychiatry attended the training, which took place in the conference hall of the hospital. Talha Şimşek and Patient Rights Officer Serpil Yıldırım attended as speakers. During the training, effective communication techniques, stress management, use of body language and common mistakes made in patient relations were discussed in detail.

The seminar, which aimed to improve the communication skills of healthcare personnel and reinforce the correct approach techniques to the patient, ended with the section where the questions of the participants were answered. Chief Physician Prof. made evaluations after the event. Dr. Banu Karakuş Yılmaz drew attention to the importance of communication between the patient and the healthcare professional. Karakuş Yılmaz stated that satisfaction will increase by strengthening the communication established and emphasized that such training activities will continue.
