South African Women Admired Alanya

The South African women's group, which came to Türkiye for the first time with the organization of journalist and public relations expert Marion Smith, discovered the landmarks of the city with a special program hosted by Alanya Municipality. As part of the visit, the delegation visited Kızılkule, Shipyard, Alanya Castle and historical Alanya houses and received information from the authorities. Guests went down to Cleopatra Beach by cable car and watched the natural view of the city.

Cultural Values and Local Production Examined on Site

The guest delegation, which attended the Carob Festival held in Oba Alacami within the scope of the field program, had the opportunity to get to know Alanya's local agricultural production and rural life culture closely. The delegation members met with the Deputy Mayors of Alanya Municipality during the contacts and expressed their satisfaction at being hosted in a safe and peaceful environment in the city.

Contribution to International Promotion

Visitors stated that they were very impressed by the city's deep-rooted history and natural riches beyond sea, sand and sun tourism. Municipal officials noted that the aim is to convey the city's different cultural values to wider audiences around the world with such organizations that contribute to the promotion of Alanya internationally.
